Camp Sylvan is owned and operated by Scouts Canada
and all rental fees listed here are for Scouting groups, but the facilities are
available to any non-profit youth-oriented groups. Please contact (519)

Whatever your Group is seeking in a camping experience - from low-impact
backcountry camping to comfortable cozy buildings, for large groups or small,
Camp Sylvan has it!
- Frontierland
- The ultimate Western-Style experience. Bunkhouse for up to 32,
Covered Wagons for up to 44, activity rooms, craft barn, commercial kitchen
or kitchen shelter, flush toilets, sinks and showers.
- The Cabooses
- Three authentic CN Cabooses sleep up to 34 with a separate dining hall.
Vault toilets.
- Hidden Springs
- Isolated and picturesque, the chalet sleeps up to 26 people.
Supported by a small kitchen/dining hall. Water at an outdoor tap;
vault toilets.
- Pine Woods
- Sheltered by a pine plantation, Pine Woods is divided into Sections A B
and C. It is the tenting site for Cuborama and Camporee. Picnic
shelter available. Water taps, greywater pits, and vault toilets.
- Happy Trails
- A medium-sized tenting site nestled under the pines. Water tap
and vault toilet.
- Settler's Flats
- An open area dotted with large shade trees, with a picnic shelter.
Water tap. Vault toilets nearby.
- Backcountry Style
- Pine Ridge and Pine Junction are intimate sites suitable for small
Groups seeking a greater tenting challenge. Water and vault toilets
either on site or nearby.
- The Orchard
- A large open field suitable for wide games, ceremonies, or tenting.
Water on site, vault toilets nearby. It is also the location for the
exciting Traverse Wall.

- The Thomas Tract
- Adjacent to the Camp Sylvan property, a hike to The Thomas Tract offers
your Group a wonderful deep-forest experience.
