Traverse Wall

Built in 2007, the Traverse Wall is located in the northwest corner of The Orchard.  It consists of a Z-shaped 8-foot high wall covered with fittings for rock-climbing handholds.  Several buckets of holds are available, plus the tools to fix the holds wherever you want.

Beaver-age youth will appreciate the larger holds placed close together and nearer the ground, Rovers will enjoy the challenge of small holds located at greater distances and higher up.  Everyone else can do something in-between! 

It's up to you and your group to decide how much challenge you'd like to take on.

If you lose your grip, simply push away from the wall and step down.  It's that easy!

The Traverse Wall is available for $25 for a three-hour session.

Place the handholds where you want them. The options are endless!	Use the holds to climb across - and around - the Z-shaped wall.	If you lose your grip, simply push away from the wall and step down.
